Janine Elsey, CMA
Janine comes to Advanced Specialty for Women with over 27 years of experience. Most of that experience has been in Women's healthcare and Reproductive healthcare, specialties that I am passionate about. I enjoy being part of a team of people dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care possible. I enjoy feeling like I make a difference in people's lives. I am a wife, and mother, and enjoy my other passions including pursuing a more self-sufficient lifestyle, raising my own livestock, gardening and spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy crafting and scrapbooking.
Christine Hernandez, CMA
Christine is a recent 2018 graduate from the Medical Assisting Program from Carrington College, Boise. It has been her lifelong dream to be in the medical field. Changing her career from the hospitality business is a huge change for her but has no regrets and is excited to learn and see what the future holds for her in this field.
Christine's ultimate goal is providing the best possible patient care and comfort each time a patient visits Advanced Specialty Care for Women.
Christine enjoys every moment she spends with her family. Christine and her husband are avid football fans of their son's football team.
Amber Mahan, Lead CMA
Ambers comes to Advanced Specialty Care for Women with over eighteen years of experience in healthcare, where she has focused primarily on Women's Health and Family Practice. A graduate with honors in Medical assisting and she is currently finishing her Bachelor's degree in Multidisciplinary Studios with an emphasis in healthcare management at Boise State University.
Amber's personal philosophy of mindfulness that fuels her enthusiasm to treat every patient with empathy and compassion. She thrives in her leadership role to the staff and enjoys the challenges her role provides.
Amber has been married for 20 years and has four children and three grandchildren, who are her world. She is an avid Boston Red Socks fan and enjoys traveling, cooking and anything outdoors.
Alison Buchholz, MA
Ali comes to Advanced Specialty Care for Women as a recent graduate in May 2018 from Carrington College in Boise. Ali completed her extern with our office and showed such growth and strength with our patients that we held on to her.
Ali's personal goals is to take her Medical Assitance Certification through AAMA and then continue her educational journey becoming a Registered Nurse. She states the best part of her time here is the connection she makes with patients.
Ali is an Idaho Native and loves doing anything new and makes friend with everyone she meets. She loves to be outdoors whether it is camping or hiking.
